    I never knew that.

A tweet from BFC says there are some tickets for sale for today's game due to a group return of unsold tickets. I never knew you could buy match tickets on a sale or return basis, and especially for a Man U game which was always going to be a sell out. Seems odd.

A certain amount are allocated for public sector workers; nurses, firemen, police personnel and ambulance drivers. If the option is not taken up they go on general sale but like you say sinkov for the United game, I thought the allocation would have been used up.

Rotten weather and being skint after Christmas might have something to do with it?

Is that a fairly new initiative BT ? I was a firefighter for nearly 30 years, including 15 just up the road, and we never got any preferential treatment, no free tickets, nothing. Not that we ever expected it, we didn't, just saying.

are they free tickets or just firstly available to those sector workers?

I heard the deadwoods try to give away free tickets to get more in but no one takes them-

I'm fairly certain they have to be paid for but I also think they have a small discount because of the "block booking".
