I have often defended TM elsewhere, but that's not to say I didn't think he was over-cautious and too slow to give youth a chance. Now, I just have to accept that he has got most things right!
Those who spent much of 2017 slagging him off are in a bit of a pickle. One of the regulars on the Telegraph site has actually changed his user-name to get himself out of a difficult spot!

That guy is, I suspect, mentally ill. He actually isn't very interested in Burnley at all, except as a vehicle for spewing out hysterical hatred against all things Blackburn.
The trouble is, Rovers supporters answer him, which is all he wants. It does make the site tedious, but I went back to using it because Roversmad practically went into a state of stagnation, with only about ten regulars.
The last few weeks, things have begun to improve again.
On that note, does anyone know what happened to JoinerPat, for example? His disappearance was very sudden.

I think if we appointed TM 5 games earlier last season, then we stay up.

My biggest fear when we went down was losing him.

If we are promoted though, we have to be ruthless. Smallwood is proven to be ineffective at the higher level, so if we want to make an impact, he probably will need upgrading on.

I'm not so sure, Saxo. We WILL need to upgrade, for sure. However, the thing about Smallwood is, he has a limited game, but one which enables other people to play more creatively. Is he really any worse than Lowe, Akpan and others we had in that position when we were in a higher division?

He may be. Who can tell? Have to trust TM IF we are promoted.
