It's not a go at anyone in particular but just a basic observation.

Over the years I would say I have worked with about 7 or 8 'dandies' but none of them ever go to games. All of them have lived in the city or suburbs so really don't have an excuse. I suppose I should have asked them. They keep up with the dons gossip, like it when we get a win but never part with their hard earned to attend a match.

So are they dons supporters? Sh*t atmosphere, tickets too pricey or really just can't be arsed?
Personally, all this "part-time supporter" bollox has never bothered me. Anyone who has ever worn an Aberdeen scarf or got a surge of adrenaline in anticipation of an Aberdeen score is a "supporter" or "fan" to me. To "support", "follow", "love" Aberdeen is an ethereal partnership you make with the club. The first time I walked up the steps of Section D of the Main Stand with my Dad and Uncle to watch the Dryborough Cup Final in 1971 was the moment I formed my bond with the club. Other people have their own story of why they "side" with the Dons - the fact they do is good enough for me ....

In any case, I was at Pittodrie yesterday and know that I am a #TopRed

Now, you might be thinking of Big Colin.....nae sure if he still goes.
I'm a big ugly f u c k e r, until about 10 years ago I had quite long hair but when it started to look too much like a combover I got rid.

    Now, like a pool ball.
