What we need is two centre halves and a quality striker. And fewer midfielders. In other words, a properly balanced squad.
Then again, that's been the case for six seasons now!
I hope I have done the sums right, happy to be corrected.

Seems the job spec of a Notts manager..
six home wins four away wins seems highly possible to me ................
What we need is a striker in the Jermaine Defoe mould, one who knows the ball needs to be shot at goal given even half a chance, not one who looks for a sideways pass in the penalty area. It's hard for defenders to cope with the first but in League 2 a packed defence can usually stop the short, sharp pass. I'm not talking here about the combined attack, I'm on about quick reactions from an alert striker, someone with the training of a fighter pilot.
We've got a nice run of fixtures now until the Mansfield game, we really need to be looking at winning most of them between now and then if we are to have any chance.
... what we need is Peter Russell 😁
Ha ha think they broke the mold
Anyone remember Kevin 'Rooster' Russell? I miss him...
