What I can't understand pass is that they are actually massively over achieving , over achieving even to be in the PL never mind the fact they have a fighting chance of staying up .

That's the way it is these days mate. Hefty ticket prices have attracted a different type of fan and it's filtering down the league's now. The fans these days appear to be entertainment junkies to me demanding value for money which to a degree I fully understand considering what tickets cost. However, common sense never seems to prevail and past achievements as well as the faith and trust that should be built up in a manager or head coach quickly goes art tut window after a few bad results. Likes o me n thee are a dying breed. I can see in say 20 years time each football league club going through 3 or 4 managers/coaches a season due to popular demand.

They (Hudds) have had some good times this season Jules, and beating ManUre at home is always a popular result.
But now we're in the real high spot of the season, the January window and the horrible freezing weather which might not appeal to certain foreign players at certain clubs.
Look at two of the promoted teams, Huddersfield & Brighton are both low on confidence and are in total relegation form right now. Can we say we're surprised and do we really care anyway about either club ?.

Well the world of football doesn't end where Grove Street joins Pontefract Road for some of us .

I live in a casm between walking to ground in expectancy, knowin' your about to watch a Barnsley side run their blood to water. Then there's what we have now. Defensive, negative rubbish.

Yes the point against Wolves and the effort was cracking. I cried tears of joy. However, it left me wanting something more.

Something that seemed more tangible not so many moons ago.

Pass might be reight. Maybe it has lost its lustre. I won't apologise for wanting a Barnsley side to go about it reight way though.

I'd rather lose four nowt than hang on for grim death lads. This int what I signed up for.

Being ok to lose just because they're near top of league, n' its expected dunt sit reight wi' me.
