Thread: Has Wood bottled it..?

    Has Wood bottled it..?

I saw him limp off against Citeh, he limped off against Tottenham, has he bottled it in the EPL?

    Just asking because...

Burnley's record signing Chris Wood missed his fifth consecutive match with what appears to be a minor knee injury which ruled him out of yesterday's reverse in the English Premiership clash with Manchester United.

Barnes on the other hand, continues to battle on with just one fit leg!

I think that the Burnley medical team are the people who know the answer to the question. We know from experience that SD does not rush players back into service and he will have his finger firmly on the pulse.

A painkiller injection in the knee might just have brought us a point.

Wood for me is just not making the right noises. I want fire and fury not, "I want me mam!"

    He's injured BT.

Same as Heaton, Brady, Walters, Ward.

    It happens. He'll be back.

What a strange supposition BT, quite bizarre. Gudmundsson has had a couple of spells out since he arrived, Ward has more sick notes than Darren Anderton ever did, are they bottling it as well ?
