I've also seen him linked with a move to Sunderland. I rated him a few seasons ago and he's always an handful. The question for me is, why would Derby let him move to a promotion rival unless they get offered stupid money?

Going back to your question, i think if he did come to Wolves he would offer Wolves a different option up front. At the moment we don't seem to be getting enough bodies in the danger area and Martin would be a target man to aim for.

Rowett has come in and changed the formation, Martin is a great target man and holds the ball well bringing others players into the game, he finishes well too. If he fit your system would be a brilliant signing for you but the way our team is now set up he just don't fit!
If Martin was playing to our old system he would be the first name on the team sheet!

I think if Wolves do end up signing him, the highlighted text would work well for the Wolves team. At the moment the starting eleven needs freshening up a bit.
