    15 League Games To Go

Since we are now out of the cup it`s all about the league now and we have 15 games to go and we are 3 points from the play-offs and 10 points from the relegation play-offs.
Here is the list of the remaining games minus one game as we still have the Dundee United home game to rearranged but this will definitely be midweek as Dundee United made it to the 5th round of the cup so with us losing it will gave us a free weekend on the 10th February.

Sat, 27 Jan - Brechin City (Home)
Sat, 3 Feb - St Mirren (Away)
Sat, 17 Feb - Morton (Home)
Sat, 24 Feb - Dunfermline (Home)
Tue, 27 Feb - Dundee United (Away)
Sat, 3 Mar - Falkirk (Home)
Sat, 10 Mar - Dumbarton (Away)
Sat, 17 Mar - St Mirren (Home)
Sat, 24 Mar - Livingston (Home)
Sat, 31 Mar - Dunfermline (Away)
Sat, 7 Apr - Inverness (Home)
Sat, 14 Apr - Morton (Away)
Sat, 21 Apr - Dundee United (Home)
Sat, 28 Apr - Brechin City (Away)

As you can see Queens only have 6 away games left and one of them is midweek but that leaves 9 home games which Queens must look to improve on they home form this season if we are going to make the push for the promotion play-offs and some new signings would be nice plus getting the injury players back.

Come on Queens stay positive after going out the cup and lets start the run of the remaining league games with a win against Brechin who have yet to win in the league yet.

I was thinking of posting a similar thread last night.
Good to highlight we still have to play:
3: Dundee Utd (2 of those games midweek)
2: St Mirren, Morton, Brechin & Dunfermline
1: Dumbarton, Falkirk, Inverness & Livingston

I suppose each Quarter Stats so far are a bit off kilter with only having played Dundee Utd only once.

Trying to recall what the First & Second Quarter points totals were and where we are so far in the Third Quarter?

Big '' Mickey '' Rooney suspended for the Brechin City game I think.

Totally agree QOS King, we now look a much better balanced team and in this league there's no reason why we can't strive to finish in the top four, - as every team is capable of beating everyone else. Queens just need to make sure that they're not the team that gets beaten!

We seem to have uncovered a real gem in Rooney, - who has been steadily getting better until he stole the show on Saturday.

Queens were desperately unlucky not to get something from the match, - and hopefully young Fergusson will tire out the opposition defences allowing Del to get the goals he so richly deserves by coming on as a sub.

we played with 3 at the back against partick which allowed rooney to go and maraud ,we look a far better team playing 3 at the back which turns to 5 at the back when defending and on the break we have loads of options ,we will win more than we lose playing this system ,but the tinker man will chop and change it .

Had a quick looked and I think the total points are from each 9 games played so far are
    1st - 12 points
    2nd - 15 points
    3rd - 3 points

Yeah Rooney picked up his 6th yellow card against Livingston for his one match ban this weekend and he has already picked up his 7th against Inverness so hopefully he will avoid another 5 as that would mean a 2 match ban.
The only other Queens player close to a ban is Brownlie who is on 5 so only 1 more yellow card and he will have a 1 match ban.

After double checking it`s 4 points from 3 games in the 9 games Quarters and in the 2nd quarter going by 9 games played it is 14 points and that was with us playing Falkirk twice.

Going by the dates only of when the 9 games Quarters should have been played the tables look like this.
    Name: SPFL league table.jpg
Views: 339
Size: 52.6 KB
    1st Quarter - 5th August 2017 - 14th October 2017
    2nd Quarter - 21st October 2017 - 23rd December 2017
    3rd Quarter - 29th December 2017 - 27th February 2018
    4th Quarter - 3rd March 2018 - 28th April 2018

1st Quarter the stats are straight forward as all teams played 9 games but in the 2nd only 3 teams played the 9 games in the dates what should have been the 2nd quarter but in the table I added the Dumbarton v Livingston game that was played on 26th December 2017.
The 3rd Quarter dates will more likely see most teams play more than the 9 games with Inverness & Falkirk having already played 5 games.
