    Has Warne got the balls.....

to start with Smith Tuesday night or will he insist with his nonsensical love in by starting Yates.

There were quite a few on here that were calling for JCH, myself included, to start against Portsmouth but yet again Yates got the nod. For all his scampering and attempting to get involved he's far from the finished article and we need players who can get in amongst other teams defences, mix it with them and win those aerial battles and Yates cannot do that yet.

I feel Yates would benefit being loaned out to a lower league club to learn his trade more and bulk up with gym work in the process. He's young and may have a lot going for him in the future but right now we need more power and strength to partner Ball.

I suspect he might not be 100% match sharp (different from being fit enough) to start a match having languished in a poor side for so long.
Barker and PW have also said he's still work in progress.

Impact player in second half along with Newell when they are tiring
There's more than one way to win a game and PW seems to know how to do it on the run we're on

Just because we we are unbeaten doesn’t mean it’s because Yates is on the pitch, it’s more than likely we are unbeaten because he gets subbed and the right player comes on

Just in case Warney is looking in, JCH/Smith are ****e and you need to start playing Yates for 90mins

Flour, a few good points but why is it that whenever the sub comes on be it JCH or Smith that they look they have put in twice the performance Yates does in such a short space of time?

Fair point but I don't think PW has much choice atm.
JCH is hopeless for 90 mins.
Smith unlikley to be fit enough at the moment for 95 mins

    There’s always a choice.
if Warney thought JCH was hopeless he wouldn’t be here

PW has already brought in Smith and is trying to get another striker on loan.
Bearing in mind JCH has hardly had any game time when we have been lacking up front, then where will that leave him when another addition arrives
I would imagine JY will also drop down the pecking order
