I am not sure I quite follow this IDWT.

IDWT was likening our slump in form to Watford's, following Everton's approach to Silva and the Hornets' subsequent fall down the EPL table.

The fact that Everton never came knocking on our door is of little consequence to IDWT's conspiracy theory.

I put our mini-slump down to a couple of bad refereeing decisions, a bit of bad luck, a few unfortunate injuries and having an injury prone wuss for a centre forward!

Falling to 10th means a bullet, help!!
I suspect Silva attitude to the owners was changed by the experience and vice versa and the losses are an excuse.

As far as I know SD never expressed an interest nor did Everton.

They were talking about the Everton job on SkySports SS just after Sam was appointed, and Geoff Shreeve said he was amazed that Dyche was apparently never in the running for it. He then asked James Ducker of the Telegraph if that was right and he said, 'Yes, Everton never considered him for the job'.
