    RIP Jimmy, Over 600 games for Blackpool and England true legend.....True gentleman, very knowledgeable about the game liked to hear him co-commentating on BBC 5 Live...

    Totally agree Wedgie, cant say I saw him play but loved listening to him on BBC radio 5 live... such a wealth of knowledge and anybody that played that amount of games in his career showed how much of a talent he was.

    It was Jimmy Armfield's Bolton side who ended our 16 month unbeaten home record which included the whole of the 1970/71 season.
