Just had a phone call from one of my ex work mates (Chelsea fan) saying Sam Vokes is maybe leaving for Southampton, he said he heard it off someone else, he's never told me anything like this before, anyone else heard anything ?

No not heard a thing. Also why would we sell him to another Prem team at our sort of level? Its not like he's going to Manu! The only way that would make sense is if Dyche has a replacement and is looking to reduce wages and recoup transfer fee outlay to part finance another deal? Any thoughts folks?

He's from Southampton,supports Southampton,so it could well be true..I wish him well if he does move,one of our better players over the years.. A good servant to our club..
