    Mitrovic

Sky Sports claiming Brighton have made a bid for Mitrovic and West Brom are also interested.

If a quick sale and the money means we can get another player in... would you sell him to another team like West Brom who are likely to be in the mix at the end of the season.

    Hmm...tricky one.

If he's as shit as most think he is then it would be a cunning plan.

But, if those who think he just needs a run of games to rediscover his international form are right then it will count against us.

Tbh, I'd rather he went abroad.

If not abroad then Brighton instead of West Brom for me...

They spend 60M in the summer and it shows, they aren’t going to be in the mix come April/May... and we’ve played them twice already this season 😉

    Like your logic, Ian.

    Brighton it is.

I'd rather he goes abroad as I think law of sod says he'll suddenly become the striker that scores for Serbia all the time when he leaves.

I certainly wouldn't sell to Baggies, don't want to give them any striking advantage.

Apparently first Brighton bid was "paltry" though.

Yeah, read they bid significantly less than the 15M valuation.

If we aren’t gonna play him, get as much as we can and get him off the wage bill and look to bring someone in with the money.

I think he is better than some give him credit for, but he’s a red card waiting to happen so he’s just not trustworthy on the pitch unfortunately.

    Agree with all this Ian.

The bid significantly less than the £13 million we paid for him as well, apparently.

Sell him to the highest bidder. He can't get into a team that struggles to score. No worries ....... right?

just sell him he is an assett that will only decrease in value the less we play him

id take 7 million for him and drive him to brighton

we dont play them anymore and if he scores against our relegation rivals then that helps

7 mill would be a nice downpayment on a decent sstriker or indeed a loan fee

and he would save us 45k a week wages

half of a loan players wages

cant believe rafa wont do the deal

Just because Rafa doesn't play him does not mean he's worth less than what we paid.
I'd reluctantly let the lad go for less for one reason. Because I think he's been treated like garbage by Rafa and he deserves to get his footballing life back on track.
