    Just been watching the match highlights. Newell reacted very quickly to pounce on the loose ball, and put it n the net - something that we are often not very good at doing

    Yes it was good to see.
    Noticed how long Ball needs, ffs just hit it first or even second time

    Before his goal Newell was our least effective player, which seems to be the case when he starts. He redeemed himself with the goal. As you say - quick reactions, excellent turn and shoot. Such a talent. If he could do it for 90 minutes we couldn't afford him.

    Our performances lately are almost reminiscent of the fun-to-watch, pre Championship Steve Evans era, where we were a constant threat going forward, and getting in the oppositions faces, not giving opponents a second on the ball. Although that team had a bit more quality, the signs are there that Warney learned something from that era.
