What a weird season that was.

Strange seeing what's happened to the players from his reign.... Kyle De Silva and Amevor playing in Dutch 2nd division, Snijders playing 2 leagues below them as far as I can tell and Sprockel in Dutch non-league.... Valenčič tearing up the Finnish league as one of their top scorers, Burke and Aborah signing for Irish teams.... Swertz and Jenner seem to have retired.

Looking at that squad now it seems amazing that Moniz got the results that he did.... and less surprising that we got beaten by bloody Salford.

Maybe the most over rated manager of all time can now go and coach the most over rated player of all time at the might of Waterford.

I didn't realise he was there, if I'd known I might have had a couple of quid on them to get a pasting every week.

Last I heard, Gill Swerts was playing for a club called RFC Seraing in the Belgian Amateur League.

I felt some sympathy for Moniz. He seemed a genuine guy and came in when the club was in a bad moment, and had the notable handicap of interference from Guy Branston. Despite that, he knew how to get the best out of Stanley Aborah and we actually played some good stuff at home. Unfortunately, away from home we let goals in for fun!
