Hope Queens Brian McMurdo the scorer of the last goal at Cathkin gets a mention - in fact he got two that day. Another ex - Doonhamer player Drew Busby a few days later got the Hi - Hi's last ever goal in an away game.

I got a commerative mug last year with the last game at Cathkin and their last ever game at Boghead on it. The Queens match attendance was 325 and Bog head's was 581.

    Thirds 3 Queens 3

    Dumbarton 5 Thirds 1

Did anyone see former Queens player and manager Mike Jackson on the Third Lanark Story on BBC Alba?

I saw the programme repeated last night. I wouldn't have recognised Mike Jackson if he hadn't been named I must admit. Did the player Tony? Connell who was also interviewed also become a Queens player after the Hi-Hi folded?

Tony played from 1971 - 73 for the Doonhamers and also played for the Hi - Hi in the 1960s
