I'm not sceptical. I'm actually quite looking forward to him playing for us. Any of the last 5/6 seasons we'd have been over the moon at him joining us. I'm just a tad wary about what my Rams friend has told me....I hope he fulfills that potential here.....rather then be a Tahvon Campbell.

To be fair Campbell looked like Maradona compared to Kwame Thomas, the last striker we had on loan from Derby.

We have had a few duds over the past few seasons which is why fans are always sceptical.

Let's hope the lad is a gem and scores a hatful of goals!

For what it's worth, I'd type it as 'Eh up mi duck!' or even ' 'ey up mi duck!'. When I read 'Ay' in a post I hear 'Aye', if you see what I mean. 'Ay' means 'evermore' or 'forever' to me.

Anyhow, never mind all this, let's beat Crewe!

I've always thought of it as one word, "Ayup..."
