Not one finger me lifted me, never have, never will, I just watch on from a safe distance. Besides the Israelis can manage quite well without me, and if you want to actively support an Islamic death cult, or terrorist organisation, which is cynical enough to use it's own citizens, including children, as human shields, then of course one is free to do so, but it's not for me.

Could they not find some way to escape to a better life in other Arab countries BT, say Egypt or Jordan. Surely at least some of them would be welcome there ?

We simply have to carry the fight or just give in to the elite regime.

    I'm never giving in!

I love a figher, however, I do think that you could direct your energy into far better things than politics.
Why don't you go out and volunteer to do charity work in order to get people off the streets, I find it is very satisfactory to know that you have actually helped someone directly. Each one to his own I suppose.

In the Bolton CLP we do that sort of stuff too! We fought for McDonalds workers to get a decent wage, we fight Bolton Council to tackle rough sleeping, we fight for social justice all the time. I never wane, nor do a whole lot of my comrades!

For the UN, the Palestinian Arabs are engaged in peaceful protests and the Israelis are the aggressive power using unnecessary force. The more passive the Palestinian Arabs and violent the Israelis can be portrayed, the greater the David-versus-Goliath narrative to rally people to the Palestinian cause.

    Meanwhile those peaceful Palestinians

In Britain I am sure you do not know what's exactly going on here, so the latest :

A Code Red sirens was sounded at midnight Monday evening in the Sdot Negev and Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Councils after a rocket was fired into Israeli territory. Explosions were heard in the area and after a rapid investigation, the IDF confirmed that a rocket had fallen inside open space in Israeli territory. No injuries or damages were reported in the incident.

The last attack from Gaza took place at the beginning of January when three mortar shells were fired at Israeli territory within a few hours at the Eshkol Regional Council, all of which landing in open, uninhabited fields. No one was injured and no damages were inflicted in the attack.

I am sure newspapers do not report a single rocket being fired, thats not worth reading about.
But if you live in that area ,and in bed,the siren goes off ,you think and care about your children and hurry them into a shelter. How much can you take over all those years ??

Primative rockets I saw when I was there in 2009

S'derot ,a town 1-2 km from the border

    The Gaza Strip

In S'derot you have 15 sec's to run for cover

I have stood in line with comrades to lobby support for the Palestinians in York and Manchester. I wish I could do more but there you are.

My next plan is to visit Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and see for myself just what is going on.
Unlike you I have been to Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, albeit in 1990. I saw that the Israelis had run a pipeline the full length of the country and turned what was desert into farming land, I saw that they had built a country with values and a democratic system from nothing. They had been attacked by three neighbouring Muslim countries hell bent on their annhialation and had knocked the c..p out of the lot of them in 6 days. They do have their lunatic extremist religious nut jobs as do all religions, but as yet I have not heard of any Israelis flying jets into skyscrapers, beheading people in the streets of Western cities or blowing up little girls at pop concerts. I am yet to hear of Israeli genital mutilation of women, forced marriages of 12 year old girls to old men and as far as I can see women in Israel can do and wear pretty much what they want. I realize BT that looking at your previous posts that you don't have such a high opinion of females in society so maybe that is one of the reasons you are happy to side with a bunch of female anti democratic terrorists, a true Corbynista. We had Labour, that failed so they became New Labour then that failed, what will be their next re brand. As they are a National Party and are Socialists and hate Jews perhaps the National Socialists would fit the bill, I know it has been tried before but has a ring to it.
