    I see on the Official Site that our ex - goalkeeper Speedy Clark is coaching at Palmerston - when did he return to Palmerston ?

    I remember Speedy standing in for Allan Ball but unfortunately he was way out of his depth.

    Yes must be a faux - pas and I have had it pointed out to me the Byers lad is the one that takes off like Usain Bolt from the dug out area to retrieve balls that have been punted over the stand towards the Ice Bowl !

    Is our ex-goalkeeper Speedy Clark the same Speedy Clark that used to be manager of Abbey Vale and who’s son Alan is currently co-manager of Abbey Vale?

    That is David "Speedy" Byers right enough that is the oldest Queens ball boy going for the match balls. They were £80 a ball back in season 2011-12. Not sure of the price of them now.
