I grew up with Speedy in The Grove , Heathhall. His family were real football enthusiasts. His Dad Jackie ran Heathhall Hearts for many years and I remember his mum turning up for every game with her 'Hearts' scarf on. I'm sure I've mentioned this before but Heathhall Hearts played on the site where Gates Power Transmission factory grounds are now. I'd say the enthusiastic approach has been passed from father to son.

Never got to see them play but my uncle Chucky McGraw used to play for Heathhall Hearts so I’ve seen a few pics and that.

Never realised he played for Queens back in the day. I’ll have to quiz him all about it next time I see him in Dickies.

Size: 90.5 KB My good pal Palmylad has just sent me this for the thread. An old photo of a yesteryear's Heathhall Hearts team. Uniroyal factory in the background. Half demolished now and abandoned .
