    Would love to sign but cannot see it. Celtic don't need him. its one of those Celtic signings we will take him from ICT just so nobody else gets him then loan him out.
    Probably go for 1 million to some England Championship side

    I doubt that Celtic consciously sign players to deny them to rivals. More likely that they took a punt on Christie as an exciting prospect and saw Hayes as a good squad player for league matches.

    The situation with Christie isn't ideal but he has been a decent player for us. We would probably need to break the wage structure to bring him in permanently and if an English club is prepared to pay a 7 figure transfer fee then we're completely out of the running.

    While I think he is a very good player he somewhat flatters to deceive. He looks like a standout but the final product isn't always there. Would like to see him put in a big performance against the h*ns but we haven't really seen it yet.
