Here is the questions and answers I did for the Lincoln City FC fans forum, no doubt all you Swindon fans reading this will find it interesting LOL

How Long Have You Supported Swindon Town?

I have been supporting Swindon since I first watched them when we beat Oldham 6-3 at home in December 1966, I have been hooked since.

    Last Season's League Finish?

We finished 22nd last season and were relegated to League 2.

What Do You Think Of Your Manager?

Our manager David Flitcroft, who took charge before this season started is doing a reasonable job but our home form has been woeful up until recently, so mixed reviews on him. We have the best away record in Division 2 so I am willing to give him more time as he had to completely rebuild the team upon his appointment with us, but he is certainly not idolised like Di Canio was last time we were in this Division.

    Hopes/Expectations This Season?

We think we are potentially a biggish club and if we are playing well and winning we would expect very big home attendances so we expect promotion this season, preferably automatic and not through the play-offs lottery.

    One(s) To Watch?

Our best player this season is a 19 year old lad on loan from Derby, his name is Timi Elsnik and he plays in midfield. He is a super player who is destined for greater things, he makes the team tick, creates lots of goal scoring opportunities for our strikers and also scores goals, so watch out for him. Also ex Premier League player Matt Taylor will probably line up against you, he delivers wicked crosses from the left and if we get a free-kick within 30 yards of your goal watch out as he is our free-kick expert with a great left foot shot. Another player to watch out for is Kaiyne Woolery who is a young striker who we bought from Wigan for 350,000 at the start of the season, he is lightning fast and has good ability.

    Top Seven Predictions?

Top 3: Luton Town Notts County and Swindon Town.

Play-Offs: Wycombe Wanderers, Coventry City, Lincoln City and Mansfield Town.

    Bottom Two Predictions?

    Crewe Alexandra and Barnet.

    Thoughts on Lincoln City?

Very good team who I expect as a minimum to make play-offs! I note you have decent home attendances and very good away support, Swindon will do well to come away from Saturday's game with something.

    Score Prediction?

Lincoln have a decent home record and I really rate them, but Swindon have the best away record in this League (11 wins to date I believe), so I am predicting a 2-2 draw.

    Random Fact About Your Club?

Swindon are only 1 of 2 clubs from the 3rd tier of English football who have won the Football League Cup, QPR are the other 3rd tier club to have won this in 1967 with Rodney Marsh in their side. We beat Arsenal 3-1 at Wembley on 30th March 1969 in front of 100,000 spectators, I was there.

What are your proudest and most embarrassing moments as a Swindon Town Supporter?

My proudest moment watching Swindon was our play-off final win at Wembley in 1993 when we beat Leicester City 4-3 and so won promotion to the Premiership.

My most embarrassing game was in the FA Cup away to Barnet on 22nd January 2008, the score was 1-1 at full time so the match went to penalties, Swindon missed ALL our spot kicks and Barnet scored 2 of theirs to take them through to the next round!

Do you have a Supporters Trust and what role do they play at the Club?

Yes we do have a Supporters Trust and they are in the process of buying our ground (the County Ground) back from the local council. There is an offer in at the moment of several million pounds and it is being considered.

Which was your favourite match involving Swindon Town?

My favourite match was obviously the 1969 League Cup final at Wembley when we beat Arsenal 3-1, there was an estimated 40,000 plus Swindon supporters there that day, this is closely followed by our 1993 Wembley win over Leicester City and our subsequent promotion to the Premier League.

Which was your least favourite match involving Swindon Town?

I can name 2 as they were both equally gutting! The play-off final on 10th May 2010 v Millwall at Wembley when we lost 1-0 and the play-off final on 24th May 2015 v Preston when we lost 4-0.
