I don't doubt the individual who relayed the info but it's difficult to be fully sure without more proof.
But. It also further highlights....(usual from me about need for one group yada yada).
Never know though. Reality is we will never know the truth unless a deal is done. If not it was always just be a rumour.
Surprised the info would've got out as these sort of negotiations are usually conducted with Non Disclosure Agreements attached.
