I guess we will just have to wait until the clubs AGM, which is due very shortly, to find out the financial health condition of Queen's. I doubt that it will be good news with the current home crowds.

its been a better window for us than i thought anyways ,but as you say until we find out how we are financialy ,it makes sense to really go for it with a half decent squad now as if we can get into the playoffs and gain promotion it would be like a shot in the arm as the tv money for the lower spl sides is night and day between the money we get in the championship .

Valid point Francis and loan deals are just like temporary sticking plaster being far from a permanent solution however it is better than nothing and the signing all look quite decent. As for the SPL the squad we do have is just not strong nor good enough for that massive leap and we are a few years away from getting close to that position. We will just have to hope and pray that the board have something up their sleeves to fund such a challenge but it must be sustainable.
