2-1
With top spot surely beyond them, teams are now focussing on position 2. Derby the recent tenants of the position will hope to hang on to it following an insurgent campaign by Aston Villa. Can Derby do it against Brentford who also have ambitions for a play off place?
Get your predictions in. Another top prize on offer. This week's correct score line winner gets an exclusive invite to Theresa May's re-election party at Downing Street. **

2-0.
3-1 Derby, Maddison and Grosicki (2). MacAnuff an assist. Steele to save a penalty
Sorry, what: do you mean these players were not done deals? But the oracle saiddd?
Grosicki was a close deal but couldn’t agree on terms, Maddison ended up being a false lead, MacAnuff never picked up pace, Steele move fell through at the last minute after all was set and completed but Derby made a U-turn and wanted to change the agreeable terms with Sunderland and the deal ended up not working out and in the end Derby had a nailed on 2nd deal over the line but threw it out the window, which was crazy to say the least after wanting a cover in case Carson got injured during the remaining 18 games.
In the end it was another dramatic deadline day at good old Derby County which ended up with one signing.

In terms of correct predictions that sounds like 0/4 to me...so I’ll go for 4-0.
Back in the real world...Brentford need to win to have any hope of making the play offs...seem relatively free scoring but a bit leaky at the back. Time for us to stand up and be counted so...a nail biting 2-1 win to stay second.
P.S. Your prizes have gone from rubbish to not a chance, Rom...but just in case, MA said it first!
