    Bye bye Stewart

SFA Chief Exec Stewart Regan has resigned.

Strachan replacement, Mexico/Peru tour, etc probably the last straw.

Must have served his purpose as 'Celtic puppet' and is now deemed as no longer required.

I wonder who Peter Lawwell has lined up to replace him?

About six years too late. Regan has been absolutely shocking for Scottish football and the blame for tolerating him lies squarely with the clubs.

I wonder if we included a 'sell on clause' when Leanne Dempster moved on? Given the way things are going in the world of sport, it seems females are the 'in thing' for any sort of job that comes up.

I must admit I'm glad he's gone. He was bullied by Rangers a few years ago and now by Celtic. No Chief Executive of the SFA can afford to upset either. However thats only the tip of the iceberg. The SFA and SPFL need to merge and we need to clear out the old blazer brigade who have stunted our development for years. Whatever Regan did badly, he should not take the rap for the incompetence and vested interests of the organisation as a whole.

Tear the bluddy house down, get rid of the suits, and bring in a bunch of folk from business / public who've got half a brain. They'll do a far fekkin better job. But, TBH, I couldn't give a to55.

A lot of the suits already are "folk from business". Regan worked in the brewing industry for years, though it's not clear how many piss-ups he managed to arrange.
