Unconfirmed sources have indicated that Mel intends to offer DDD a senior position in the club. Positions like Senior Press Officer or Technical Advisor to GR are being bandied about.

I think for your own good (and perhaps detrimental to my club), he's somehow contrived to get a deal with some Chinese backers.
The Chinese are looking intently on investing in England and Derby have been looking good for promotion for some years now. It might be cheaper to buy in now rather than when the club is promoted.
