Hold up your scarves

I forgot to take mine today and I feel so bad for not doing so, but seeing so many people in the ground holding up their scarves before kick off for the Cyrille tribute brought a tear to both eyes. I feel honoured to have been there today and to have seen that. Fantastic

I didn't know about the scarf tribute, but i held up my mate's with him and then the chap next to me hold it too.

A great send off for Big C, but like the Astle day defeat, the players didn't do their bit by performing like they can.

Having watched some pre-match tributes live on tv out here in the Middle East I must admit that it was a moving experience and I would have loved to have been there for that alone. Also seeing so many players from that wonderful era took me back to a period when Albion played a brand of football to make us proud and give us hope...............very unlike the bunch we now have wearing the stripes.
