    Ecky Thump ?

Must have had a damn quick round of interviews today then as current EFL rules state ...............

Football League clubs are "leading the way" to address the under-representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) coaches, says EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey.

A pilot of the so-called 'Rooney Rule' will extend to all first-team vacancies at EFL clubs from 1 January 2018 for 18 months, the EFL confirmed.

Interesting 'tho - but we'll see how it'll all 'pan out' ................

It's an interesting point - but announcing TC was leaving at 10pm on a Sunday did feel at the time like there was a plan in place for Monday - still to be confirmed, but if it is it would definitely suggest the 'process' pre-dated the sacking.

We wont have a "proper manager", I.e. one who plays a part in everything to do with player recruitment, coaching, selection etc, as long as Radrizzani is the owner. Such an appointee simply doesn't fit the management structure he has put in place and as Tich pointed out in another thread, the owner owns and does as he sees fit regarding such matters.
