I've never seen the alleged letter and I don't know anyone who has.

So I've no idea if it truly exists or not.

If it is anonymous then I don't see what would hold anyone back from publishing or at least redacting any part that could reveal the source.

Exactly my thoughts at the time, if it was anonymous what's the harm in making it public? To be honest, I don't think it ever existed and it was more likely a face to face conversation.

Yeah have heard similar, the director bit had everyone look at the board of directors, but some would go on to suggest the real source did in fact have the title of director, but as part of his job title
