These lads have put in a shift all season, so when they run out at the weekend they deserve our unflinching support.

It does. It would all be worth it if we only learn something about who is and isn't good enough. There were some glaring weaknesses: obviously Virtue (is Hewitt injured?) and also Dickinson. Hawkridge looks a non-league player, Collin's confidence will be shot to pieces and Duffy could do with a rest. So hopefully in come Fitzsimons (who can now be forgiven), Jones, Ben Hall, Hewitt and Bennett.
