I’m trying to work out whether we made Swanse look like Real Madrid because we were so poor, or were they that good. One thing is for certain Nathan Dyer and Tony Abraham ripped our defence apart.

Also we got humiliated in the Cup in that illumonous yellow kit in 1998 when we lost 7-1 away to Man City and that was on TV as well.
I was saying about that yellow kit to the lads I watched the game with. I don't think we could see each other

Last night for me was the worst, eight fcuking one!!!!! Sometimes non league upset those above so even though that hurts at the time, losing eight one is disgusting.

We're not the only team to have ever lost 8-1 though...

Amazingly, yesterday (6th Feb) saw the 19 year anniversary of another 8-1 scoreline. One which went down in Premier League history.

The 1998–99 season match between Nottingham Forest and Manchester United at the City Ground took place on 6 February 1999. Manchester United won the match 8–1, thereby recording the largest away win in the history of the Premier League.

Were Notts subconsciously marking the occasion in honour of our illustrious friends over the river??

Regrettably though Dom, this one was the only one involving Notts. The fact that others have been equally as sh!t is scant consolation.

Well, who can we blame for that......Surely not the man who picks the team and according to some the next England Manager.
