    So, what went so wrong?

First 2 goals in just over a minute

Going in at half-time 3 down when we'd had our best spell just before that, Scored and were only 2 down. Why when 2 minutes were added did the ref go over and they scored in 2.20 when at end of game he only went 7 secs over?

Whole team looked over-awed, no fight, no bite, no threat upfront.

    I think:
    a) Our boys looked tired
    b) I'm not convinced by Hunt has the legs at L2 level, let alone against PL. Can't wait til Tootle is back.
    c) Hewitt was ill/ injured and he's become the beating heart of our team
    d) Swansea took their chances well
    e) Nolan is a promising young manager, but he needs to learn from today

I could probably do the whole alphabet, but there's five points to start with.

    Questions for the post mortem;

1.) Was 4-5-1 the best formation to use with Stead up front on this own?

2.) Would we have been too exposed playing 4-4-2?

2.) Why so many changes from Sat, squad rotation fair enough.

3.) Would it be fair to say that Husin and Virtue are too inexperienced to play together in a central midfield?

4.) Did we give Swansea too much respect?

So many things wrong with that team selection - Husin & Virtue in midfield has never worked, no Shola up front, 4-5-1, Dicko over Jones...

But that wouldn’t have mattered so much if we weren’t playing a resurgent, confident and ruthless Swansea. I think we would have been comfortably beaten tonight with whatever line up we put out, but boy did we make it easy for them.

Let’s smash Barnet 9-0 on Sat and put this behind us, eh?

Right now I'd take 1-0 and 3 points to be honest.

No way can you keep on playing the two young lads in central midfield : expect many defeats if you play both of them together!

A solid 4-5-1 would have been better with a man sitting instead of a 4-4-2 with a 10.
