I couldn't care less whether you believe it or not. I've met him too, it's not exactly an exclusive club reserved for the high flying likes of you and your acolytes. I've also written to him and to give him his credit he wrote back with a very polite and encouraging letter.

Also, I don't see what part of 'wiping the floor' with someone precludes them from lying. If anything it suggests that someone would be more duplicitous because they could get away with it.

Ok ok let’s just calm it all down. This thread is obviously in need of the influence of somebody who is eloquent, well reasoned, calm, fair minded and of high intellect.
