OT: What Good Comedies to Watch?

Oh btw, if any of you caught any great movies, please recommend in the similar movie thread.

I'm now watching reruns. But if you guys have any great ones do tell. Afraid I'm not getting much British comedy these days, so have to trawl the Net and You tube.

At the moment, I'm watching some of these:

    1) Yes Minister
    2) Father Ted
    3) Balls of Steel Australia.
    4( Monty Python
    5) The 2 Ronnies.

    Others I would recommend strongly,

    6) 'Allo 'Allo
    7) Hogan's Heroes
    8) Not the Nine O Clock News
    9) Everything Rowan Atkinson
    10) Come Fly with Me

I've been watching a bit of Citizen Khan too. Not too shabby but I preferred Goodness Gracious Me.

    Current.

    This Country. Brilliant observation

Mum. poignant and funny at the same time

Romesh: Talking to Comedians. I laughed so hard at the Jack Dee bit on this I ended up on Sotolol, seriously. And I don't even find Jack Dee that funny

    Recent past

The Thick Of It. Funny and scarily prophetic

    Grumpy Old Men

Harry Hill's debut run of standup cameos on Friday Night Live/Saturday Live

    From the Vaults

    Yes (Prime) Minister

    Dads Army

    Steptoe

    Unfunny

    Harry Hill since the above

Anything with that Alan Partridge geezer in it

    I've been watching on youtube

    Love thy neighbour

I'm no way racist. I think the white guy Eddie Booth gets the p taken out of him for the most of it

Would there be quite a uproar if it got repeated on gold . or would there I'm not sure ??

70's sitcoms they are quite watchable and funny to see how times have changed

Used to love On the Buses when I was a kid

Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python and Dinnerladies for me.
The new one with John Cleese, Alison Steadman and Jason Watkins (Edith?) due to start soon sounds promising.
