It's BNOG
It appears the FA ‘refused’ a previous complaint from Dong....
“On 25 November, Bong was involved in an incident with Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku in Brighton's 1–0 league defeat at Old Trafford, where Lukaku attempted to kick Bong twice in Brighton's penalty area. Lukaku ultimately did not face retrospective action for the incident, with referee Neil Swarbrick’s report confirming that he had not seen the incident, but the FA panel could not reach a unanimous verdict”
It's BNOG
First of all, racism is wrong and abhorrent and we should be proud of the part our club has played in the fight to stamping it out.
In regards to this instance, the following strikes me;
1. JRod's character is highly thought of not just with us, but all former clubs and people who know him. Seems like a top bloke who wouldn't say/do this type of thing
2. The incident itself looks quite innocent, I've not seen one damaging piece of evidence in favour of Bong and against Jrod
3. Surely the FA have investigated it, in order to have bought charges. In that case they should have a lot more than just circumstantial evidence to present charges against JRod
4. Jrod himself has vehemently denied the accusations and vowed to come out fighting the charges. He is innocent until proven guilty.
5. If the FA have charged him, without any concrete evidence and dragged his name through the mud. Then there should be repercussions against them. If they charge him for just saying 'you stink', then much worse is said than that in a game of football, there will be thousands of these charges going through every weekend.
All in all, quite a sorry affair. The FA are completely fcking useless though so I know where I stand. The club are right to support JRod through this mess. I'll support him unless concrete evidence comes out from the FA to say otherwise.
If the FA can't provide this evidence, then they are a disgrace for bringing charges.

The only two people who know the truth are the two players involved. If he did make a racist remark then he fully deserves to be banned. However, the only true fact that the camera revealed was that Rodrigues did hold his nose but to what reference, again, we don't know. It could have been concerning an incident that he took exception to, bad breath, style of play or whatever. None of which are racist.
My concern, and I have to be careful how I say this, is that in today's society, whichever minority group feel agglrieved, they tend to be believed. It could be racism, ***ism, religion, gender, etc. Unfortunately, in today's climate of political correctness I think that the complaint will be upheld and that Jay Rodrigues will receive a ban. I don't want people 'jumping down my throat' over this because as I have already stated, if the evidence is undeniable that he was racist he fully deserves it but to my mind it appears to be one man's word against another's and therefore, with the lack of concrete evidence, he should not be found guilty.
I agree with LB’s comments above.
The FA have to find J Rod guilty because he is white and Bong is black....it’s as simple as that one fact.
Consider the reverse situation if J Rod had accused Bong of racism based on this non evidence,it would’ve been closed down weeks ago by the FA under the “nothing to see here” category.
It’s this type of fatuous, lazy accusation of racialism which actually gives our ethnic population a bad name....we all know racism when we see/hear it and we all know childish playground behaviour which is what this event falls under in my opinion.
It’s too easy for Black people to pull out the race card......the “handwringing, right on,do gooders” pounce on any opportunity such as this yet when the reverse happens nobody wants to know.
Example.
A few years ago I entered a team in a five a side competition at the Hawthorns which our old poster BedfordBaggie’s son Jak and a former poster called HS Baggie’s son also played in.....HS is a big Indian guy,him and his son are really nice guys.
First couple of matches were fine but in the third match we played a team that consisted of lads of what seemed to be Pakistani origin only and the game was awful, the abuse our lads took and my son in particular was eye opening.
I won’t use the racist phrases on here but it was pure hatred for anybody white or for anybody black who was happy to play for us.
Our lads got kicked from pillar to post as well yet the ref, sanctioned by the club did nothing.......it’s interesting to note the ref was black!
After the game I walked over to the organising team and Head ref and told them what had gone on and they didn’t want to know.....they visibly cowed when I explained it was racism against white people by black people!!
Nothing to see here!
The Asian lad playing for us was aghast and disgusted at what he witnessed, his dad shook his head and said he was ashmamed to be black.
A few months later the club asked me if I wanted to enter a team again for that summers tournament but I declined and explained why.
I was told I should’ve entered an “official complaint” to which I pointed out I had complained and nothing had happened on the day.
Afterwards it didn’t seem worth the hassle,I suppose that’s the problem with us as a breed,we tend to let things drop.
On the day though the whole thing, including the “one eyed” black ref absolutely stunk.
Just like Bong’s breath!!
Nothing to see here.....FFS move on FA.
But you won’t.....you will hang J Rod out to dry because that’s what you do.....you are a corrupt, overly PC bunch of f u c k wits.
Totally agree! It's only in the UK would an individual be charged for a terrorist offense against ISIS as reported the other day! That guy should get the Victoria Cross! Rainbow Laces/ Jay R being accused of racism which will stick/someone fighting ISIS getting charged - this country is a joke! If you take fruit to a football match then make sure it's an apple as another fruit could have you charged the way this country is heading! Joke!!!!
