I had an email asking me to sign a petition to stop the putting up of a blue plaque in memory of Enoch

I replied "Sorry I'm not sure if Enoch was a racist. The narrative of many is to imply he was but to call someone a racist in the truest sense of the word is to sit down with them and discuss their meanings in great depth and really listen and try to understand where they are coming from. If at the end they appear to be racist well you stick to your label as your guess was right. If however you were wrong just at least apologise."

Plus I thought plaque were a tooth problem

Yes,he posted for a while afterwards then disappeared again.. Accy board used to be a good board when Winny was mod.. Plenty of interesting topics about the world and putting it to rights..
