Sam Winnall Out For The Season With ACL

Sam Winnall out for the season with ACL injury which he sustained during the game against Brentford.

Big blow for Derby been a good little asset for this season with a few goals here and there looks like Rowett will have to find a replacement for him in the free agent market.

Yeah chipped in with some important goals not sure if we need another striker though as he didn't start many

Sam Winnall will be sadly missed for the remainder of the season he is a player who can give us that little bit extra up front if we need to change the game up against teams who are hard to break down, he scored two crucial goals against Ipswich and Leeds and without those crucial goals we wouldn’t be in the position where we are now he is a key asset for us.

We certainly need to replace him with someone who can give us the same quality that can take us over the line in the remaining 16 games of the season because apart from Vydra & Nugent who are our regular consistent goal scorers we only have Cameron Jerome who recently joined us with one goal so far this campaign compared to Winnall 6.

Done more then Bent & Martin combined this season to keep them away from the squad and played more game time then them and produced more clear cut chances and taken them he is a deserve starter, if he finds himself on the bench that tells you we have a good squad to keep him out that are bang in form in front of him and also good, we have other options available to switch it around if we need to, to change up the game in our favour.

Bent & Martin are the real bench warmers, no end product and produce nothing and don’t fit our system, they are leagues behind Winnall, Vydra, Nugent & Jerome and they are both our higest wage earners who produce nothing, glad we got them off our wage packet and no longer paying for something that doesn’t help out the team good riddance.
