Keane has yet to prove himself, so I'd test the water at 8M, and if we get knocked back only increase it to 12M

Not the Burnley way ,...Offer £750,000 rising to £1M sounds more like us

What is his current wage? He doesn't deserve to be on more than Mee/Tarks/Long. This would be a deal breaker for us I reckon.

If that could be overcome then he would be the perfect acquisition for us.

If we were going to pay £17m for Worrall whose side have not won since we bid then Keane must be worth at least that. His wages said to be double or treble what he got here (£30k) may be more of a problem.

    .

Dont Come Back - Keane.....you've got yourself free from the stagnance - if Everton can't wait - then best to continue to rehabilitate yourself eslewhere - just not here.

Stagnance Norder? He was in the England team before he jumped ship. He was just about the hottest property at centre half in England.

being why they seemingly want rid of him - he was good...when brainwashed into the Dyche game - stuck solid (stagnant) with support to his sides - which is why the Toffees dont want to be stuck with him - only hope he can break free of it - which perhaps wouldn't be the case if he came back to us - and which could also mean we'd be in for more of the same - unless Dyche, the master of boredom went...now there's a thought !

I agree Alto. If Everton are the school of science we are the University of Life and our buy back offer should be 8 million.

Keane's travails at Everton are just more evidence that we possess the best manager in the country by far at organising a defence. Since Keane left his career has nose-dived, while Tarko has slotted in seamlessly, and even Kevin Long, who appeared to be miles off PL class, has come in and looked sound. God help us when Dyche eventually departs, we'll be in freefall within weeks.
