Just have to put them out, no doubt we won’t get any TV money as the will want to make sure Servco and Cellick games are on the box,but no doubt we will either have our kickoff time or the date of the match changed to accommodate them

Had it been the other way around and this was at Tynecastle I wouldn't give us a hope in hell. But as it is I think this is a tie that could go either way. We will need to be at our best on the day to do the business here but this is a tie that is winnable for us...as well as lose-able.

Bring it on. I see the old firm get the easiest possible home draws again. Shock horror 😠

On paper is it any harder a draw than Aberdeen at home in the quarter-finals of the league cup this season. Show the same commitment and desire as we did that night and IMO we can do the Jambos COYW

It's not harder in that Hearts are not a better side than Aberdeen, but at the same time we no longer have Louis Moult who destroyed Aberdeen that night so it would be fair to say that we are weaker than we were back then. We have however recruited shrewdly and have shown that we have character and bottle when it comes to big games like this.

We actually have a very good 'recent' Cup record against Hearts, think the Tony Thomas/Andy Goram debut when we thumped them 3-1, or the 2-2 at Tynecastle following Phil's death before we won the replay and of course that magnificent night at Easter Road in 2005.

None of the above will have any bearing on this tie next month but I am a bit more comfortable facing Hearts than I would be facing Aberdeen or Celtic.

The tie is winnable but to win the cup we'll now need a massive performance against Hearts just to set up the need to beat two out of the Old Firm and Aberdeen. The chance of that treble is non-existent.

In a cup draw all you want is a home tie. We got that so we have a great chance of another trip to Hampden...... Mon the well
