My late father loved the big band sound and every Sunday morning the house was full of brass band music of which some's rubbed off on me
So mine's Glen Miller In the mood
Through the years since I was born way back in 60 I've been brought up on some great instrumental music, as vocals weren't always required.
Some may say Albatros by Fleetwood Mac, or Carlos Santana with Samba Pa Ti (to the young ones that's the Marks and Spencers advert music) and many many more which I hope you will contribute to this thread.
For me during my childhood I often heard this piece of music and even now it always reminds me of being small, long school holidays, blazing summers with long tall grass, Clifton Park with the paddling pool and the donkey rides, stop laughing
Anyway I digress, go on have a think of an instrumental you can quickly relate to from way back when and post it on here.
They say variation is the spice of life and it will be interesting to hear others choices.
Here's mine....

Liked Telstar as a little lad. I'm gonna go all hippy and say Theme One by Van Der Graaf Generator though I'm sure there are others I've forgotten,
Rez- by underworld
I love this track and normally I hate dance music, guess it just reminds me of good times during the 90s
Here you go Roly...
