Oh yea, 2-2 to the leagues bottom form team? Thrilling!

I really enjoyed the game on Sat. I'm sick and tired of watching mismatched, one sided Prem games shown on tv mostly. It was 2 teams going at one another. They had the first half (we where woeful) we had the second. The Scunny game & Shrews at home where the best few football matches I've watched live at Ewood park in years. For all round entertainment, and atmosphere.
Sat wasn't quite as good, but the best atmosphere in years. They brought loads and where in great voice. It was actually strange, I thought they sounded too choreographed for your average set of lower league fans (compared to others who have been to Ewood this season) maybe City & United fans aswell? They where load, and never shut up. The atmosphere, match itself etc meant it was an enjoyable game. Oldham looked no worse than Shrews, based on 2 games in isolation.

I suspect the Oldham fans were infiltrated by Burnley fans, as they were singing 'no nay never'..

I can't accept league one football champs. Its a league to be gotten out of, not to enjoy. No matter how well you play, or how attractive it might appear to be, its still league one. Nobody gives a shyte about you as a club while your in it.

You can't start a thread on a game you haven't seen, based on other people's opinions, and not expect feedback
I know lots who don't post, or read the ****e 'elsewhere' because it's negative, ill informed rubbish, posted by folk who don't understand football. And when it gets to the point where your having to ignore 85% of the posts you stop reading. Although it's extremely low numbers on here, my views or Despairs, Auks, Robins aren't the same. But we just chat about football, in a non confrontational, or hysterical manner.

Yep , you were dead serious.

Again you’re letting yourself down with abuse.
I’m mature enough though to just shrug off that comment.
    Have a pleasant night.

Maybe I was a bit harsh there despair. Going off your response, you are a mature decent character. Apologies, but I hope you understand my feeling.

Saxo - do you really mean you can't enjoy a football match because it's in L.1?
I often go and watch park-football, and get a lot of fun out of it! The comments by the Oldham manager made me re-think what I'd seen and - yes - it WAS a damned good game. Both teams had their periods of superiority; there was a lot of skill on show; some excellent goals were scored; and there were a lot of near misses.
If football is only about league-tables, the you might as well support only the top six in the PL, because they are the only ones who can guarantee "success".

I didn't see anything, but quite a few around me in the Riverside where saying there was trouble before the game. Anyone heard about that?
