Lewis is a good young keeper which he has shown in the 1st half of the season. he is young so he was always going to make mistakes but when the "easy saves" are going in you need to question whether he needs to be dropped for a game or two.

his confidence is gone which results on him doubting in his own ability. two of the goals yesterday he effectively dived out the way of the shot rather than reading the striker and having belief in himself to make a comfortable save. the 4th was right at him but hes some how managed to dive to the side to try and save it?
the other two goals i still think he should have done better by moving his feet. hes a big laddie but doesn't seem to use his physical presence enough.

I have to disagree with this. For the last 3 seasons the players have been 'shot' shy.

You pay more if he doesn’t play.

When moneys tight you have to play him.....or don’t take him on loan in the first place.
If the pundit had not fallen out with Bain you may well have still been in the cup,Parish has hardly got the Dairy choir singing has he?.

Dunno GB, was Bain not in goal when St Mirren came upto Dens and knocked them out last year, or when Sevco blitzed them in 13 seconds the year before

We have to be questioning our goalie coaching, that’s a few young keepers now in recent years not improving and regularly making the same mistakes in games.......simple things too, like coming off line, standing tall / making yourself big when strikers in 1 on 1, goal kicking and clearances staying in the field of play, coming for crosses particularly in 6 yards box - take the hit and refs will give the fouls !

Even just instilling confidence in these guys, they’re a bag of nerves .......mind you it’s maybe seeing the team like nes that gives them same fear we have every week.

Absolutely no idea what this has to do with the subject matter but you crack on.

Completely agree. I feel sorry for the lad as having that ever-changing defence in front of you would hardly fill anyone with confidence but I'm afraid my patience has worn out completely after Sunday.
