I agree. He has the potential to be the best footballer in the team. But we need the other midfielders to do the hard graft so that he can do the creative work.
To complete the trilogy, I give you Gael Bigirimana.
He looks the ONLY player we have with vision and passing capability in midfield yet sits warming the bench and given very little game time. Again Robinson has secured him permanent contract but prefers Rose and McHugh every game.
Are we keeping him for when the days are longer ?
I’m at loss why Robinson reluctant to give a start/run other than a late substitute as our lacks a skill appears he can provide.

He needs to change position and start delivering as a '10' to start regularly in a Robinson team, I think. Robinson values the dirty work first above everything else and then depending on the strength of the opposition, he'll decide on how much creativity we'll have. At the minute that's Ciftci first, Tanner second...and there's no way Robinson would - unless forced by injury/bans - pick Bigi from the start to do the grubby stuff ahead of Rose, Grimshaw or Campbell. And he's not in competition with McHugh at six. Once, as Robbo says so often, we've won the right to play I can see him coming off the bench to play his passes when there's more space. But at the minute his path into the team is by becoming better than Tanner, sitting up behind the lone striker/front pairing rather than forcing himself ahead of the worker bees box to box types.
I also really like Bigi as a player and I'm still not completely convinced of Robinson's plan...but being midtable, reaching a cup final and a quarter-final so far makes it very hard to criticise the results achieved, even if the way we've achieved them is pretty grim.
