Aye he did say that and then said it is Radio Sheffield after all, the other clubs should get their own radio stations...arrogance is us eh? When they start losing again they might not be so keen to take up the airwaves. All of the other clubs in the area would happily listen to that.

Yes, he is rather strange.... but what was even stranger was the Radio DeeDah presenter admitting that the Pigs v Swansea FA Cup game was boring.... which upset a few Pigs fans.

From the ridiculous to the sublime. Radio Sheff also played Saturdays phone call from Tony Currie praising the Unitedites for putting on a do for him on Friday. Great emotional phone call and, unless you are a hardened Wednesdyite, difficult not to be touched by.

Only saw him play a few times for United and, for me, he was the best player ever to put on a shirt for any of the 6 local teams. The number of times he was on the edge of his own area and put 60 yard passes out to Woodward on the wing reminded me of a quarterback in American football such was the preciosion.
