Thread: Nothing to suggest that next year will be anything other than a huge challenge

As Sean says it’s fine margins with us having won only one game by more than one goal (Swansea 2-0 h) and lost only two by more than one (Spurs h 0-3 and city a 0-3)
So of 27 games we have drawn 9 won 9 (8 by one goal) lost 9 (7 by one goal)
If only we could score more goals and stop losing goals in the last 10 mins we would be top 6.
Can Wood regain a scoring streak, will Lennon pay off will Tarks return restore impregnability. We may soon find out.
Am I missing something. What scoring streak does Wood need to regain?I cannot remember him having a scoring streak for us.

One every three games? 4 from 13.

No need for this negativity. We currently have half of our first team out with injuries - and we are still very competitive.

I reckon we will get a couple more in before next season, but even if we don't then I think our starting line up is very powerful.

    Heaton
    Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward
    Lennon, Cork, Defour, Brady, JBG
    Wood

Who is the weak link above?

We need another centre half, perhaps a different kind of striker and another option in attacking midfield.

I think that it's looking very promising for next season.

I suppose you could call that a streak but only compared to our other supposed strikers.

If he could prise himself from his sickbed, Wood will always score goals. His record speaks for itself.
