League Match 24: Doonhamers v Morton

Kevin Clancy is the match official on Saturday as Queens get back to League business after a two week break.

The Falkirk game on 3rd March will be rescheduled as the Bairns visit Ibrox that weekend for the Scottish Cup Quarter Final match.

The Falkirk rearrangement is a huge pity for the club, as once again we lose the 500 or so fans that would travel.

In other words that's a 10K loss to the club, - plus any extras obtained from catering.

Clearly this is no-ones fault, - but the fans need to be aware that any budget the club might have had is seriously affected by losses of this kind

We have certainly had no luck in that respect this season with the Dundee Utd fixture going the same way.
Sod's Law both are fixtures against sides who carry a decent away support for Saturday games......!!

Yes I was just thinking the same and it would be interesting to see just who is available for this important match with hopefully some of the long term injured players getting close to a return and will Del be fit?

The Standard couldn’t get a hold of Mr Naysmith this week either

I have noticed that the match previews have been going from Thursday to late on a Friday recently. Naysmith reckons that Jacobs and Marshall should be back with the fortnight's break.

Morton have Ross Forbes and Jai Quitongo out for the rest of the season according to Duffy and Lee Kilday and Robert Thomson will also miss out.

Jacobs and Marshall back available with Lyle still injured and Martin apparently fine too.

After having no match last week it's good to have live football again than watching it on tv and it's an important match against Morton who are on good form at the moment but with them being 1 point ahead of us and a game in hand we can not really afford to lose this match.

    Come on Queens!
