Thread: Jack Ross

    Jack Ross

Worthy of it's own thread I feel given there looks to be some fat on this particular bone .

Looks like a young Warnock .

Seems their Chairman is denying any approach and BFC won't comment on speculation.

The murky world of football head hunting , seems to have a bit more to it than anything we've seen so far .

If we weren't interested then surely you'd just dismiss it and move on to your real target .

He's possibly applied or we've tapped him up so hence the no comment from BFC .

Done a decent job at St Mirren to be fair , how that equates to our current situation right now I don't know to be honest .

I think the real deal with St Mirren and to look at recruiting their coach would be to see Ross having them in the Scottish PL and holding their own against bigger clubs .

Top of the Scottish Championship is fair enough but they are a much bigger club at that level and much like us when we drop down to league one .

I'm not particularly excited by it but having said that I'm not throwing my arms up in the air either .

Going to have to see how he goes about it before making assumptions in my opinion with this guy and give him a go .

It beats a foreign coach with no experience I will say that , yes I know he's a Scot but you know what I mean .

This is a post, one of many, from St Mirren Black and White army forum from January last year.

The heading was Jack Ross must go.

    Sound familiar?

I think that's it , it's an accumulation of many things. I said in my post I don't think he should be sacked this season.

I think however if he plays his part in taking us down , then it's an option ,but he should not be sacked mid season , we are not down yet & I still think we can get out of this.

I might be kidding myself on but some people that say he interviews well & we are playing better is good enough for now , simply isn't improving our league position.

Still , let's hope for some new faces soon.

We have 13 games to get into the position to survive.

It's going to be very difficult now . Unfortunately I fear the worse .

I’ll ignore the Wagner “Recruitment post” from ESR.... As I already know he’s a closet Town fan.....LOL
This post was from January 2017, when the Buddies were bottom, and I believe they are in a much better position now than they were then.
