    Not quite...

    5 of 7 packages sold for 4.46BN
    Sized: 32 * 3 & 24 * 2

2 remaining are smaller than the 5 sold
    Sized 2 *20

Last time they were sold in total for 5.1BN

Plus there is overseas rights, last time made 3BN and that needs to be sold still before comparison can be made.

Still, doesn’t look like a massive hike in price based on the packages given last sale was in 2015.

If Fatty was gambling on a big hike in TV deal he’s gonna be disappointed.

It was said on Five Live a couple of weeks ago that at most the increase would be 10% but more likely 6/7%. Still a £350m increase is still a canny figure. Where have we heard that figure before?

It was saying on chronicle, don't know how true this is though, that it might actually encourage him to take a hardline stance on the price of club as the money is guaranteed from TV deal for 3 years.

Which if true makes the mind truly boggle that he didn't allow Rafa to get the players he wanted in first place.

Agreed, it's a good thing that it hasn't massively risen though.

Doesn’t make and difference to us Fatty will just trouser as much as he possibly can while getting his free advertising.

It looks like the deal may even be (slightly) lower than the last one. Ashley will continue with a 'lean' transfer policy, pocket millions from the current deal, 'give' free advertising to Sports Direct and appoint a 'yes' man as the next manager.

    Sorry Zip.
