These games will make or break promotion or play offs for all the teams concerned. If we can get a result in 2 or 3 or these four games, we will be automatic. Obviously if we get a win, they drop points at the same time.

Hang on a bit, we're not mathematically safe yet

79 points and you've only got us losing 2 more games between now and the end of the season!

I think we'll have to change some of those draws into wins!

You have us winning one away game against a side that is pretty strong at home yet sides that are struggling we are in the main losing. What is the rationale?

The rationale being we are Notts County.

I think its worth aiming for a number of points to be fair. We started the season really well when our first aim was to get to 50 points. Since then, we've slacked off a bit.

It might be worth Kev saying aim for 85 points and see what happens? Sometimes it's better to have a target.

Best shot at 3 points next game - as simple as that.

With 14 games left there are too many things to go wrong, injuries, suspensions, etc.,let's take it one game at a time.

I went thru the 14 fixtures and got to 78pts with one fewer draw. The fixtures aren't too bad, automatic could be done by mopping up most of the lesser teams (the 4 Cs) away - Cambridge, Chelt, Chessie, Colchester and taking the big 6 pointers at home Wycombe, Mansfield.
I'm with bigfatpie in that I'd take a play-off place now. I just don't think we're free scoring enough for top 3 (the current top 3 have all scored more goals). Losing Bennett was a blow. If KN can get the squad to grind out enough points for top 3, it'll be one hell of an achievement.
